“5 minutes away from the ferry terminal, Dunard Hostel is the place to be to explore the Isle of Barra. We have been welcome by Chris and Katie at our arrival and they were very keen on giving us advices : Chris arranged our bike rental... Alone, it would have been hard as almost nothing is open on the island on a Sunday. We stayed in the two dorms, that are quite cosy and warm. The best part was the common room and the big table, where everyone is eating, reading or chatting. In the Hebrides, everyone is going up north or down south so it is very easy to collect ideas and advices from other travellers. Would recommend ! ”
